ADAS Calibrations

ADAS Calibrations

Why use LJM Compliance Solutions?

At LJM, we have access to the latest software, tools and knowledge from a range of manufacturers which gives us the ability to calibrate, diagnose and code an array of ADAS and autonomous systems. We use the Hella Gutmann CSC-tool and OEM targets.

Any calibration carried out will adhere to the UK Insurance Industry Standards and we are IMI accredited in ADAS calibration, as well as delivering the ADAS AOM230 Accreditation at the training centre.

Why does your vehicle need calibrating?

Advanced Driver Assist Systems rely on a combination of cameras and radars to work as intended. Following wheel alignment, windscreen replacement or any kind of collision - either major accident or even a kerb bump - manufacturers and insurance companies recommend ADAS calibration to ensure your vehicle’s ADAS technology is working correctly.

We recommend getting an ADAS calibration after any of the following events:

  • Windscreen Replacement

  • Collision Repair

  • Tracking/wheel alignment

  • Suspension replacement

  • Heavy wheel kerb damage

What do we require?

  • Evidence of a recent 4 wheel alignment geometry check has been carried out and that the vehicle meets manufacturers tolerances. Ideally within the last 2 days

  • Removal of any additional loading – this includes external racking, roof racks and canopies where possible

  • A full tank of fuel – to adhere to manufacturers measurements and guidelines

  • Full sized wheels with manufacture specified tyre pressures
