L2 EV/HYBRID ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

LJM Compliance Solutions Ltd Offer Electric/Hybrid Vehicle training delivered by our Technical Trainers who have extensive knowledge of the Automotive Industry. We offer all your Electric/Hybrid training needs from our fully equipped Training Centre, to give your existing technicians and testers the significant core knowledge, skills and the ability to work safely around and maintain Electric/Hybrid vehicles.

This qualification is designed for those people who may encounter electric/hybrid vehicles within a routine maintenance situation. It also contains the knowledge and skills required to work safely around a vehicle that may have had damage to its high energy/electrical system.

This Electric/Hybrid Vehicle course consists of 2 training days at LJM Compliance Solutions Training Centre. Candidates are then required to sit an online theory assessment and carry out a practical skills assessment to complete the course.

Within the 2-day course at LJM Compliance Solutions Ltd, the following contents will be covered:

  • Electric/hybrid vehicle system components and operation

  • Hazards surrounding electric/hybrid vehicles

  • How to reduce the risks to yourself and others when working on electric/hybrid vehicles

  • Safely preparing the vehicle when carrying routine maintenance (NOT high voltage components or systems)

Entry Requirements for the Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicles Routine Maintenance Activities:

Whilst there are no formal pre-requisites, we recommend that candidates must be able to demonstrate that they hold a Level 3 qualification or alternatively have at least 3 years’ experience in the Service and Repair of Light Vehicles in order to successfully complete this course.
